When we started our trip planning, Scotland was on our wish list, but didn’t seem feasible if we wanted to spend most of our time in the Alps. Now it’s our first stop. Everyone we talked to loves Scotland, and raves about the charming cities and accessible hiking. We made sure to include the West Highland Way in our hiking itinerary, as well Edinburgh and Glasgow, two cities we can’t stop hearing good things about. Here is a preview of our trip, with some tips about hiking the West Highland Way and what we expect to do! First Stop: Scotland and the West Highland Way | April, 2019 In early April, we will be flying into Edinburgh, UK. Aaron and I will spend a few days exploring the historic city and adjusting to European time zones before heading out to Glasgow.
